Nicole.
Things I am not terrible at
1) Speed eating
2) Avoiding responsibility
3) Pretending to know things
Five More Unnecessary Facts
1) I have Hitchhiker’s thumb. This is the only cool thing about me, and it’s not even that cool.
2) If you are alive, chances are I crave your approval.
3) I rely heavily on self-deprecating humor.
4) I regularly post on Sunday evenings, the time when master procrastinators such as myself feel the most alive.
5) I go through so many life crises that, to simplify things, I have begun to regard my entire life as one big crisis.
6) I can’t count.
Hi Nicole! My name is Madeleine and I just wrote my first blog post. I came across your writing on a comment on Angela Ma’s blog, which I’ve been following for a while. Any advice for a newbie blogger and junior (eek)? Sometimes I think I’m the yellow brick road and sometimes I feel like the ground is one fire.

Hi Madeleine! Sorry for the late reply–this stretch of the semester is always death. Not that I’ve been that productive, I mean.
I love Angela’s blog, so this is super cool(: Junior in high school, right? I’m a sophomore in college right now, and really I just wish that I’d been brave enough to just do my own thing instead of spreading myself so thin trying to do what everyone thought was necessary to succeed just to prove myself, you know? Thanks for reaching out–I’d be happy to help you with anything else you might want to know!

Love it! I too post on Sunday evenings and for the same reason. When I started my blog a little over a year ago my goal was to post once a week, and, you guessed it, I found myself publishing every Sunday night. Hugs to you my fellow procrastinator!

I’m so good at what I do that I procrastinate responses to next Sunday evenings, too. (But seriously, thanks so much for the comment and sorry I’m late!)

If there’s one thing I am, it’s self-aware. Thanks!
